Garnet's Life Adventures: October 2005
http://garnetslifeadventures.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31. Start of Week 5. Sunday I stayed at school until around 18.30 studying with Susan. We took short breaks b/w going over the lectures so that's why it took so long. Plus neither of us had anything pressing to do that evening. Luckily we'd both turned out clocks back on Saturday so we were both on time, unlike others who were meeting for their study groups - lol! After we finished studying chemokine receptors and inhibitors I decided to come home and have some dinner - stir fry, yum!

Garnet's Life Adventures: May 2005
http://garnetslifeadventures.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 12. So as most people know by now I'm going to be moving to London this coming September to start my masters program at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Seeing as I'd never been to London I decide to plan a quick week long trip there so I could get my bearings and look at a few "flats" and see what the going rates for "letting" is. I've got to learn how to down load pictures so that you can see them - still new to this blogging stuff :). Posted by Sara @ 6:53 pm.

Garnet's Life Adventures: November 2005
http://garnetslifeadventures.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30. Just a little ranting. So nothing exciting has happened since I last wrote in this blog. I've been reading papers and trying to get my 2000 word essay done for Monday. I am very close to my 100 pound goal for the World Swim for Malaria, that's good news! I am however disappointed at the lack of people who donated - For just $5 you can save a child's life! I've realized what a sheltered life we Americans live - I bet most people don't even really know what Malaria. 2 DVD rentals,.

http://speakspaniel.blogspot.com/2009/10/puppy-play-dates.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. Puppy play dates are an excellent way to socialize your puppy and also to provide the exercise and mental stimulation that your puppy needs. I recently received these photos from the owners of Bella and Maggie from the M Litter. These two girls had a play date together and obviously had a fabulous time. I am so happy their owners took the time to get them together! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You can contact me at calypsoecs@yahoo.com. Calypso English Cocker Spaniels.

Speak Spaniel: November 2008
http://speakspaniel.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Trimming nails seems to be an activity that is universally disliked by dogs. Some English Cockers are more foot sensitive than others and those that are more foot sensitive are generally the most difficult to get to cooperate with nail trimming. It really seems a lot like people being ticklish. some are more so than others. 3 Use cookies to make the experience more positive. 5 Keep a bottle of quick stop handy to use if you accidentally cut your dog's quick. Nails bleed ...

Sunday, June 7, 2009. Happy Dog's Bedtime Prayer. Now I lay me down to sleep,. The queen-size bed is soft and deep. I sleep right in the centre groove. My Human being can hardly move! I've trapped her legs,. She's tucked in tight,. And here is where. I pass the night. No one disturbs me or dares intrude. Till morning comes and I want food! I sneak up slowly, it begins. My nibbles on my human's chin. She wakes up slowly, smiles and shouts,. Just cut it out! But morning's here,. It's time to play.

Speak Spaniel: December 2009
http://speakspaniel.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Training related questions are the most common questions that I get asked by my puppy buyers. One mistake that I find many pet owners make is to ignore good behavior and correct for bad behavior. While this may seem to be the obvious route to take, doing this will inhibit your dog's ability to learn quickly and happily. Dogs do not learn without being reinforced for their good behaviors. How else are they to know what we want from them? My dog doesn't know how to (? I participa...
