Fall Break in Orange Beach. We took a last minute trip with Gigi to Orange Beach for a few days over Fall Break! We waited until a few days before we planned to go to see how the weather would be and decided to give it a try. I had never been to the gulf in October, and it was beautiful! Gorgeous cool beach weather, and perfect water and waves. Maybe a little cold for Tyler's taste, but the girls didn't mind! They did pretty well all week! All smiles on the way down. They were pretty amused by it :) .

We had a great trip to the beach with Tyler's side of the family this year! It is always so fun to have everyone and all the cousins together. We all went to Destin together for the first time and loved all the cool restaurants to go to every night. And of course the beautiful, white sand beach! We had absolutely amazing weather! If only more restaurants at home could be open aired, overlooking the water, with lots of other loud people around- we could go out more often! My families favorite thing to do ...

In July we took a trip to St. Louis for Skylar to see a new neurologist at Washington University. Her appointment was the main reason for the trip, but we were able to stay a few days and see family and have some fun too! Gigi came with us too and enjoyed seeing some of her favorite parts of St. Louis from when she lived there. On the way there we stopped at Lambert's in Sikeston, Mo. Savannah loved it and thought the throwed rolls were the coolest thing ever! We visited the arch our first afternoon.

Skylar's first day of First Grade! Skylar started school August 4th this year. In VA, we were used to it being the middle of the summer on August 4th! But Sky didn't seem to mind too much, and she was excited to be starting First Grade! We are thrilled with her school and teachers and love her whole team at Lakeland Elementary. This sweet first grader is so special to us, and will always feel like my baby no matter what grade she is in! You are going to wear me out before school even starts.

Last Days in VA and Moving! But, I am hopeful that we will make lots of new memories in Memphis too! Skylar and Savannah had an exciting last week of school. Saturday, June 6, 2015. Destin, Florida 2015. We had a great vacation in Destin, Fl! We had beautiful weather, lots of fun on the beach and in the pool and yummy dinners every night. It was so nice to spend that time with family and Beau absolutely loved playing with all of his big cousins. So thankful for an amazing week! Monday, July 28, 2014. Williamsburg, VA 2014. They even watched Beau for the whole day so Jack and I could have the day to ourselves. We walked around downtown Williamsburg, had a great brunch, toured Colonial Williamsburg and then had an amazing dinner! We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to returning as Robert gets older and can do even more fun stuff! Relaxing with some Baby Einstein. Stopping to stretch our legs. Aunt Kristie and Beau. Thursday, September 13, 2012. We have been meaning to tie up with the Haistens all summer and we finally did a couple weekends ago. The Piersants came with us too! We had a late lunch at Steve's Landing and had a grand old time listening to the Birthday CD mix I had made for Casey and got left in the boat. The girls loved singing to Taylor Swift's new song. Girl's Day on the Lake. It was such a fun day! Christy loves her personal space so we decided to destroy it. The two pregnant ladies stayed dry.

James, Caroline, Wilson, Mimi, Nana, Pop and I started our journey in Atlanta. At dinner, our server brought a note for the kids telling them we were leaving in the morning and Mickey and Minnie dolls for them to carry on the plane. Caroline was in shock!
