Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Today Leah had her first swimming lesson. We are taking a parent-child course for 6 weeks. It's just something fun to get to acclimated to the water. We had a great time and look forward to going next week. She was so excited to wear her new swimsuit. When she saw herself in the mirror she said, "Cute." I had to agree. Delight Full: 15 months old and Christmas

Wednesday, January 5, 2011. 15 months old and Christmas. We took her for her well baby check and learned that she once again was not on the growth chart (which starts with the 5th percentile). She weighed 18 pounds, 6 oz and was 28.5 inches tall. As the doc put it, "She is just going to be petite." Really? Have you seem me and Greg? The poor thing doesn't have a prayer of being anything but petite. I like her that way, too. Grump and Leah on the carousel - Christmas Eve. Her first look at her gifts.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Nine months old and off the charts. She is a great little sleeper. I could still watch her sleep for hours. This is now her favorite napping position. I love the little ruffles! Leah went to the pool for the first time, but could not understand why she needed to wear her swim suit. As far as she was concerned she was just in a big bathtub. She was more interested in the other kiddos running around than she was in the water. Leah also got to meet Nannie for the first time.

Friday, December 17, 2010. Beginning to walk longer distances (one week ago). She thinks she has this walking thing perfected (today). This one is a freebie just because I think it is cute. Okay, so I'm quite a bit late getting this post on here, but at least I made it before Christmas! Thankfully, she did not have an ear infection or strep. The doc diagnosed her with a sinus infection, gave us an antibiotic and the next day she was a different little girl. Here are a few photos from the day.

Tuesday, April 20, 2010. When Leah turned 7 months on Sunday my initial thought was, "Oh! I really wouldn't mind if she stayed six months old for a year. I love it! She is our precious gift from God. The only food she really doesn't like right now is bananas. She actually gags with every bite. She is making progress using a cup and sippy. Cup We have been working with a straw and now she can drink with a straw! Here are some of my favorite pictures. Leah's "First Fishing Hat" from her Grump.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She is growing, but not by much. She weighs 19 pounds 13 ounces. She is 29.5 inches tall. We were really hoping that she would reach the 20 pound mark so we could turn her car seat around.
