Friday, April 27, 2012. A visit from the Magic Fairy aka: Brooke. Brooke spent the week with us and all our Mayhem. It was so fun to have her here and the kids loved it! Even though Jacob kept asking her where her "friends" were, aka: her kids. And he kept callling her Aunt Jaime and the nice mommy. Auntie Brooke pampered this little guy, and he loved it. Thursday, April 4, 2013. Dad's Honey Do List continued. Dad was a huge help in building the shelves and window seat int he toy room. When it's all finished it's going to house all the toys.I can't wait! This was a huge project and I couldn't have done it alone. This was probably the most productive week I've had in a long time. Thursday, April 4, 2013. Abby was so excited about her baptism. She had Grammy make her a special dress for the day. She had a very specific design in mind for her dress and Grammy made it perfectly. Both of Abby's Grandparents flew out for her big day. She felt very blessed to have them there. It was so special to be at Abbys baptism! Friday, December 23, 2011. We finally have a star! In years past I've simply put a bow on top of the tree but this year I wanted a star. Abby picked this one out, it even lights up. Our tree is mix of ornaments that remind us of Christmases past. This one is made of paper and was made by me when I was 4. Abby told me that I was very talented for a 4 year old. Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Father's Day started with church of course and then a well deserved nap for dad. Then on to all the homemade gifts from Abby and Jacob. The kids made him a super hero story book that turned out so cute. Notice Jacob's unhappy face. He's mad because I asked him to scoot closer to Abby. He refused and then pouted. Monday, July 16, 2012. Summer Fun in Cali part 2. Going to the Family Cabin every Summer has been a yearly tradition since I was born. I have since taken my family every Summer and hope to continue the tradition! We enjoy eating outside. Climbing on tree stumps and going on walks. We went to the lake everyday. Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Trampoline Where Have you Been all my Life? We got a trampoline about a month ago and I haven't seen my kids since. They are outside jumping any chance they get. The neighborhood kids are also enjoying it which is great for me because that means my kids are at our house and not somewhere else. This little man LOVES to watch the kids jump through the window. Sunday, January 6, 2013. Every Christmas Eve the children and sometimes Mom and Dad get new pajamas. This year I made matching pajamas for everyone including Uncle Clark who joined us for Christmas this year. The kids were super excited and Jacob was beside himself with excitement because his best buddy Uncle Clark had matching pajamas with him! I had about 10 kids come to the party. Friday, March 9, 2012. First trip in the new double jogger. I took the boys on a walk to get Abby off the bus. The stroller was great! It is the In Step Grand Safari double jogger. Friday, November 9, 2012. Halloween 2012 on November 3rd! Well Hurricane Sandy pushed our Halloween night to November 3rd. The Township declared that Halloween would be moved and at first I thought it was strange but I guess trick or treating in 40 degree weather without rain is better than 40 degree weather with rain!
