Tyler, Kolbi and Co. Sunday, July 20, 2014. We celebrated Ruby's 2nd "Bee-day"! Since she has turned into such a busy bee, we thought the theme was appropriate. Unfortunately, we couldn't have predicted the irony that she was stung by a bee (or hornet, not sure) within the first ten minutes of her party. She was playing on the grass and somehow a bee got up in her sandal and stung the bottom of her big toe. She became hysterical, crying "ouch! Don't touch my "meow"! She really is as sweet as can BEE!

We made the best of it, nonetheless.with lots of Valentine crafts, including the treats Ryker took to his classmates. Ryker brought home his custom-designed heart full of goodies. Apparently pencils were the popular giveaway choice this year! For his class party, I helped make a target in which they took turns shooting arrows through the heart. Halloween felt like it was 4 days long this year we started by Maddex's preschool party on Thursday, then our ward party and trunk or treat on Friday, Tyler and I had an adults only party on Saturday, Sunday was full of eating all the candy and then finally it was Halloween on Monday and we visited the great grandparents and a few family friends.
