My time spent in portland and at the gorge was honestly the most fun i've ever had. i was surrouned by awsome people and all our planning proved perfect. we rented an RV which was a great decision . we slept well, we ate well, we partied well! I don't think there is anything i'd have done differently - it was a couple days of easy going bliss, what more can you ask for? It's only half way through september but my sights are set on october. Not only is it a lovely fall month with college football in full tilt . It is also jam packed with concerts! Last weekend i celebrated my 31st birthday. this occasion had the grace of falling on the date(s) that moe. was playing @ roseland ballroom. Saturday started off with dinner @. German photographer, throsten brinkmann, yields self-portraits that turn the genre on it's head . they are odd and sometimes creepy but i find them to be quite lovely. 100 chicken @ momofuku noodle bar. Every year in NYC there is a new food trend . pizza and pork definitely come to mind. A new food item popping up is meatballs. New to the lower east side is. Fuerza bruta: look up! With having andi mindy visiting i thought something new and different would be fun. we got tickets to go see fuerza bruta and it was pretty spectacular! This past weekend was my annual trip down to the kennett square brewfest with eric, jens, amy and chris. as uaual we had such a great time and eric and jens were terrific hosts with delicious eats. i hope we keep up this tradition for years to come!
