The Brockbanks: November
http://benandalyse.blogspot.com/2014/03/november.html
Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Ben left AGAIN for the first 3 weeks in November to start his residency interviews. He got back just in time for Thanksgiving. We decided to stay in Richmond this year since Ben has been traveling so much. We were invited to have Thanksgiving dinner with several friends from our ward and it was delicious. The best part about it is I DIDN'T COOK! No surprise because I never cook. Ben prepared yams and some other side dishes to contribute to the feast. View my complete profile.

Friday, October 28, 2011. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. The Waters invited us to stay in their parent's beach house in Corolla, NC this past weekend and of course we had to say yes! We had soo much fun relaxing, going down to the beach, eating, playing games, watching movies, etc. We never got a picture of the whole group. The Larsen's and Bennett's are not in this picture. The Tracy's, Ben and I trying to be artistic. Ben was very proud of his heart. Don't you just love that guy? We went with the Vanhill...

The Longloopers: November 2013
http://longlooper.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 3, 2013. Lentils and quinoa are hip. I dont really hate any particular food. Sure there are foods where I would say, "I'd rather not." But I would eat them anyways, but lentils and quinoa are one of those things I really struggle with. Lentils much more so than quinoa. Usually when I share this with people though I get a response like, "oh really? Or "I just love quinoa! Really I want to like it but. EEK GAG! For the record, I have. Tried to like quinoa! I tried to imitate the Whole Food...

Monday, July 8, 2013. So we went to see Aline graduate and in the mean time decided to visit the city. Matt and I visited Aline 2 years ago. This time we got tour the city with my parents and my cousins, Kesa, Asinate, and her husband Mike. Kesa, getting friendly with the statues. Love Mike's pastry shop! Last time we came I was pregnant and I could not partake of the delicious and unpasteurized soft cheeses. This time I indulged. Why yes, my mom is wearing a shower cap. Why do you ask? Below is a classi...

Happiness is Leah Shaped: Trenches
http://armenialeah.blogspot.com/2013/04/trenches.html
Happiness is Leah Shaped. The world is my runway. Watch me strut. Thursday, April 25, 2013. You never know how big someone's yard is until you have to dig a neat and orderly trench across it. NORMAN'S YARD IS LONG. I have spent the majority of the past two days cutting squares of grass, removing them, and digging knee deep into the dirt. Today, the plumbing and electrical pipes were laid. And then we filled the damn hole back up. Ugh. But we did it. And as a reward? Tonight we went golfing! 2 months to go.

Happiness is Leah Shaped: February 2012
http://armenialeah.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Happiness is Leah Shaped. The world is my runway. Watch me strut. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. We all have our respite, I suppose. Every few months or so, the "happy-go-lucky" side of me that is so pleasant to be around gets eclipsed by the "everyone and everything is not worth my time" side that is not so pleasant. That is when I know that it is time. Time to prescribe myself a one-time dose of something potent and beautiful. That is why, this weekend, I went to. Finding a miniature version. Basically, a...

Happiness is Leah Shaped: Creamed Spinach and Prunes
http://armenialeah.blogspot.com/2014/08/creamed-spinach-and-prunes.html
Happiness is Leah Shaped. The world is my runway. Watch me strut. Monday, August 11, 2014. Creamed Spinach and Prunes. I know, I know - I'm not old. I don't think I'm old. But I am old er. And that is a hard thing to be. Tonight, I am awake at what used to be a "normal", "fun" hour, but which I now consider to be a godforsaken, TIRED hour. And why am I awake, you might ask? The short answer is that my fiancé is 21. And I am 28. The long answer is…. long. Waffles with maple syrup and butter for breakfast.

Happiness is Leah Shaped. The world is my runway. Watch me strut. Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Los Juegos del Hambre! So usually I wait to blog until I have something interesting. To say. Well, I don't know if the following will fit any of those categories, but as I've said multiple times before, if you don't like it, read someone else's blog. So I went to see The Hunger Games this Saturday. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. When I saw the teasers. I believed the character's motivations. My only complaint was par...

Johnny and Monica: Something New
http://jonicawilliams.blogspot.com/2011/06/something-new.html
Friday, June 10, 2011. At the beginning of this year I saw a link on the SUU website for local artist to submit samples of their work to be considered in the SUU Art Auction. I thought, well just submitting something sure doesn't hurt anything. So I submitted my samples and awaiting a response. I got an email back several days later, saying that SUU would be happy to include one of my pictures in the auction. I was thrilled! So I got a couple more pictures printed and framed and took them to the gallery&...
