I cannot believe Avery is 4 years old now! Wow, where did the time go? I still think I should have this little baby, and here she is a little girl! She sure keeps us laughing, always coming up with something crazy to say. She is so cute and prefers to wear only dresses, whenever possible! Favorite Toy- Puppy, of course!

Monday, April 20, 2009. Well, it's official- I'm in the race! I was one of the lucky 40 women who got in the lottery! I am so excited, I am never lucky, and the odds were against me with 160 women applying for the lottery this year. I'm really excited, in less than three months I'll be doing this and completing a long time goal of mine! Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Sorry, but it's true! That's why I've taken a 3 month long hiatus! So, he has resigned himself to 3 more years of commuting, then never again!

Wednesday, September 15, 2010. The time has come. To say goodbye to my beloved camera! I am (FINALLY) moving on and up in the digital camera world! I can't wait- although this has been a trusty old friend of mine. So I'd love to see it go to a good home, somewhere that it will get used and won't have to sit around in the closet lonely and missing me! I recently watched Toy Story 3- so am feeling bad for this little guy). September 20, 2010 at 5:16 AM. I going to miss that old camera. :). The time has come.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010. I was so greatful to my parents for letting us, and our dog, stay with them as long as we needed to. Thursday, November 19, 2009. Ok, we went to Hakone National Park about 3 weeks ago. It had a lot of potential- on a clear day you have magnificent views of Mt. Fuji, especially once you take a gondolla ride to the top of a nearby mountain. They have over 17 million tourists visit this National Park EACH YEAR! Avery and I, purifying ourselves before entering a temple. This little girl really impresses me with her copsticks. She picked it up so fast and is a little pro! Look at her go, so proud of herself!

Friday, July 17, 2009. A few weeks ago Rich was able to climb Matanuska Peak with his friend/neighbor Shane. They really wanted to make it to the top before 1pm cause Shane had an appointment. So, they got up at 4 am just to climb it- crazy. Sure glad I'm married to a big, strong hunky man who knows his way around mountain tops. I'll post more about that in my next post! Monday, October 26, 2009. Tokyo National Museum, etc. Well, I'm sure most of you don't care about all the little details of our trip. Too bad. I decided that since I don't scrapbook that this is how I'm going to organize and keep track of all that we did in Japan. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Back in October I was able to meet up with two of my best friends in the whole world for an amazing girls' weekend!
