Tynemouth Canoe and Waveski Club. High Borrans – Beginner’s Story. We have a beach base at the south end of Tynemouth Longsands. You will find us just along from Crusoe’s beach café. We hold regular Sunday morning sessions for most of the year and on a Wednesday evening during the summer months. Our destination depends on the tide, the weather, the capabilities of the paddlers involved and availability of coaches. We sometimes paddle south to Tynemouth Pier. Or Brown’s Bays.
