Never too proud to push. And not want to have a go. The closest Town to Coed Y Brenin is Dolgellau, it’s got a curry house, a few pubs and a nice view of Snowdon. There are some excellent places to stay in this area, particularly TYN Y GROES. Beer, food, and you can throw a cat from the car park and have it land on one of the trails.
