The Huneycutt Family: April 2010
http://huneycuttfamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. Hannah was invited to her first sleepover this weekend, and it was actually for most of the weekend! She got to play with Barbies, ride a horse, jump on a trampoline, build a bird feeder at Lowe's, and sport some lovely eye makeup. She even got a Fayetteville Police Dept. tattoo! Here are some pictures of her enjoying being a "big girl." Boy, she seems like she's grown up so much in the past few months. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Sunday, April 4, 2010. The Huneycutt Family: Schlitterbahn
http://huneycuttfamily.blogspot.com/2011/08/schlitterbahn.html
Saturday, August 6, 2011. The kids all swim well, so they're at a great age for a water park. Most of the rides are tube rides with good old-fashioned black inner tube tires! Several of the tube rides last twenty minutes or so from the time you get in at the top, float through all the rapids and then splash into the river at the bottom. It's great fun to gently float along the river, which is shaded almost completely by the giant live oak trees lining both sides, until you reach the getting out point.

The Huneycutt Family: Remember the Alamo

Saturday, August 6, 2011. Sorry the picture is so big - I'm working on our new computer and haven't quite figured out copying and pasting with this giant non-mouse thing on the side of the keyboard.) It's not that Samuel is a struggling reader. Just the opposite. It's just that I have a hard time motivating him to start new books. Nothing is as good as Harry Potter (his opinion! Nothing. So why bother, right? Here are some pics of our time at the Alamo:. Hannah has to look inside. I have one who has been...

The Huneycutt Family: March 2010

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. The Bike Ride Blues. I had this brilliant idea that a family bike ride on one of Fayetteville's many trails would be a fun thing to do in the nice spring weather (the weather that we have had for one day out of all of spring break! I think I would really enjoy biking on either of these trails and plan to do so as soon as I get a new bike, preferably one that won't impale me when I sit on it, AND just as soon as I find someone to go with besides my children. Any takers? Bring Yo...

Saturday, December 31, 2011. 2011 - A Great Year. The following post is a year full of pictures . . . how the Huneycutts spent 2011. It was a wonderful year with many blessings! In January, Jacob won the school geography bee and is pictured with Dr. Farrah, the moderator. 2011 saw our biggest snows ever. When you added up all of our snow days, we missed two full weeks of school due to the white, fluffy stuff. We spent a lot of time indoors. At home. Night sledding at St. Joseph's close to our house.

But, another general education teacher from him school district that was supposed to come canceled, and he got to come as a conference attendee as well. Our first "teacher" conference together. John said he doesn't really want to take the test again! Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Snow Day = Work Day. What did the kids do? But, Jacob also finished his homewor...

The Huneycutt Family: June 2010

Tuesday, June 15, 2010. This is our second time to visit Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. My parents gave us a week of timeshare to use at Glacier Canyon Lodge - Wilderness Resort. It is a fabulous place! There are six different water parks here at the resort (all included). Three are outside; three are inside. You can walk through a maze of skywalks and different wings of condo/hotel to get to each without ever going outside (which I'm sure would be great in the winter! We've noticed a number of extended fam...

http://huneycuttfamily.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2009. My mind isn't here right now. Please leave a message. Basketball practice, my grad class, Wednesday night church, scouts and on, and on, and on. Plus anything that John and I want to add to the mix. I know this is just for a season, so I'm mainly just trying to roll with the punches. I'm so very glad that tomorrow is Friday. It has been a really, really long week. Sunday, February 8, 2009. A Spoonful of Sugar. Makes you get cavities! We go to her appointment first thing in th...
