Valve Oil - Horn Players
http://hornplayers.livejournal.com/383116.html
Tue, Sep. 1st, 2009, 08:20 pm. Besides Al Cass, what valve oil do you prefer? Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009 07:56 am (UTC). Blue Juice and nothing else. Swear by it! Thu, Sep. 3rd, 2009 04:49 am (UTC). Put me down as a second on Blue Juice. Good stuff, and not very pricey. For the posts, I use Bach rotor valve oil (the thick stuff). That's largely because my old valves tend to click a lot, and the heavier oil reduces that. Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009 08:19 am (UTC). Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009 02:24 pm (UTC).

PLEASE HELP!!!!: finale_workshop
http://finale-workshop.livejournal.com/10453.html
I need to add one and a half beats to extend the last note in the song (Nature's Hymn) that is available below. The song begins on a pick up (one and a half beats) and proper music notation calls for giving back this length at the end of the song. I cannot get Finale Notepad to let me add more! Would someone with real Finale be able to do this for me so that I can send it to the publishing company tonight? Http:/ www.yousendit.com/transfer.php? Post a new comment. Partial measure staff change? Anybody know how to change the staff halfway through a measure? Everything I try ends up starting the staff change at the beginning of the measure. Post a new comment. Suggestions?: comps_and_arrs

I am in an AP Music Theory class at my high school and for the final project I have to study nationalist music. I also have been assigned a project to write a composition in the style of Bartok. I thought that it might work to structure the melody around an American folk tune (I'm trying to use Big Rock Candy Mountain) but I am having some trouble deciding how to structure the harmonies and how dissonant I should make the piece. What are your opinions? X-posted a bunch, sorry.). Post a new comment.
