Posted in Client Work. Recently I traveled to New York and attended Affiliate Summit East 2014. My primary reason for going, aside from seeing industry friends I don’t live near, was to speak during the Ask the Experts session on Utilizing Affiliate Manager Relationships. However, a fun opportunity presented itself: being the official photographer for the invite-only Affiliate Karaoke event. Background Affiliate Summit has often, in the past, built fun. I take a lot of photographs. A lot! I’ve taking a few courses from local photographers and Chabot Community College to improve my skills, as well as being very fast to self-learn different tricks outlined on the web. These days, I primarily shoot with a Nikon D5000. With either my Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II Nikkor Telephoto Zoom Lens. It’s been brought to my attention that the website eventseeker used not just one, but 4 of my photos of the Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg, SC on their venue page for the David Reid Theatre, located within the Chapman Cultural Center complex. New York Daily News Uses Hollywild Park Photo. In January, we found another photo I took used in a national media story, albeit a very sad one. New York Daily News used my photo of the barn at Hollywild Animal Park in Wellford, SC. There was a tragic fire at the refuge for former entertainment industry exotic animals that claimed 28 of the beautiful animals.
