With all the hoopla about what information our favorite tech companies are handing over to the government, I have to wonder what the big deal really is. When looking at the big picture and considering that government surveillance has been happening for decades to protect the US population from terrorist attack, why is this a concern for anyone now? Are there still people who believe no one checks up on them and the activities they do across the internet?
