The Dead Sea Scrolls. One credit hour equals 50 minutes of classroom instruction per week over a 14-week period plus the week of final exams. For each hour of classroom instruction, 1 2 hours of work outside the classroom is standard (reading, research, papers, etc.). Some courses include mandatory field trips. The grading scale at the University of the Holy Land is:. F 59 or less. EXEMP The student is exempt from the course on the basis of an examination. WF Failure for other than academic reasons.
