August 5, 2015. We left Denali and headed east across Alaska on the Denali Highway, another mostly dirt road. The beauty in the landscape here is just jaw dropping. Over every horizon is something even more beautiful. The trek to Wrangell-St Elias National Park was pretty long so we decided to camp along the way. July 10, 2014. We are now in Missoula. We did some awesome hikes this morning at Craters NP. That place is so interesting. I now want to add a foundry to my list of things to do and melt down some of the volcanic iron slag into some interesting projects. But that is another story for the future. February 6, 2015. Pam and I just returned from a 600 mile, 5-day adventure down to southeast Arizona. We traveled with friends who knew the area well so we were just followers for most of the trip. We first stopped in a old ghost mining town of Pearce, Arizona. With my jeep project nearly complete I spied a possible next project in the town. Not sure Pam agrees with the choice, but you never know. It was hard to get close to them but they were flying all around us. To the old stagecoach stop and Ft Bowie.

June 26, 2015. We left Yosemite and headed west to Sonoma, California. Everything seems to grow in the Napa and Sonoma valleys, but mostly grapevines dominate the landscape. April 10, 2015. The eroded rock formations there are unique and some huge rocks balance perfectly on the rocks below. And others look like things that can easily be identified. Only about 170 EarthRoamers have been made in the last 14 years, so we rarely see them in our travels, and were surprised to run into this EarthRoamer in the remote Gates of Lodore Campground in Dinosaur National Monument, Colorado the day after the EarthRoamer Owners Rally ended.
