my so-called brain: Two Days 'till Xmas: Christmas Vacation
http://myso-calledbrain.blogspot.com/2011/12/two-days-till-xmas-christmas-vacation.html
Friday, 23 December 2011. Two Days 'till Xmas: Christmas Vacation. And you thought your family went crazy at Christmas. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is the third part of the four part Vacation trilogy starring Chevy Chase - that's right I'm ignoring the STDVD travesty that was Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure. If anything it shows how much worse the annual get together of family could be. When was the last time you ate turkey so tough you had to dip it in water or fling ...

Friday, 20 March 2015. My So-Called First Interview. Brian Knappenberger is the documentary film maker behind The Internet's Own Boy. It tells the story of Aaron Swartz a young genius who actively fought for open and free information but due to being hounded by the federal government he ended his life at only 26. I recently had the opportunity to speak to Brian about his film and the legacy that Aaron Swartz has left. Nobody knew that this was coming, we had hoped for a compromise that was generally in o...

my so-called brain: A Warm And Frosty Flick
http://myso-calledbrain.blogspot.com/2013/12/a-warm-and-frosty-flick.html
Monday, 2 December 2013. A Warm And Frosty Flick. Has Disney still got that special magical musical touch? From the opening number to the final end credit scene Disney's Frozen. Put a stupid grin on my face. Packed with fun the film harkens back to the likes of The Lion King, Aladdin and The Jungle Book. The 3D is well done but as per usual I found it pretty pointlessly pointy pointy but it'll distract the kids during all the mushy bits. In conclusion, a true return to form from the House of Mouse, Frozen.
