I also use lube when getting into an internally nylon-lined suit as well, to make sure it gets a good / proper seating and is comfortable. There are commercial wetsuit lube products available, but don't overcomplicate things. Save your $ $. Some people use a typical water bottle and swish it around in the suit before donning.

http://apneaddict.blogspot.com/p/masks.html
A unique take on Freediving and Apnea. The search for the perfect freediving mask:. To me, a mask is the most intimate and important aspect of our freediving equipment. Fits medium to wide faces well. The Micromask is a super-low ...

The Apneaddict's Blog: Why I freedive...
http://apneaddict.blogspot.com/p/why-i-freedive.html
A unique take on Freediving and Apnea. I have always liked to push the boundaries of human / personal performance in everything that I have done. Freediving is a mental exercise in relaxation combined with intense physical preparation. One of the coolest sensations in freediving is when you are perfectly weighted so as to be neutrally buoyant and having an almost endless glide without sinking, nor floating to the surface. All energy is spent propelling you forwards. Be active several times per week.

As freedivers, we use a lanyard to connect us with the descent line so that we are always attached to it in case of an emergency where we have to be pulled up, in case of darkness or poor visibility, or just as piece of mind that we have not drifted away from our lifeline to the surface.
