As there was no breakfast served in the morning, I said my daily prayers to look after myself, got showered and shaved and went round the corner to a bustling little bar and had the usual 2 coffee and toast, but they were nice big rolls! La Vie en Jaune. The plan is to cycle from Caen to Tours; then west along the river Loire using the Eurovelo 1. Cycle route; travelling south on the Velodyssey. EuroVelo 6) Atlantic cycle route from Nantes to Hendaye then following the north coast of Spain towards Gijon, where I will follow the ancient Ruta la Plata. South towards Seville. From there I will head towards the coast – maybe via Jerez and Cadiz, and on to finish the journey in Alcaucin. May 1st, 2015. The big day is here. June 1, 2015.
