Thursday, December 25, 2008. The Second Day of Christmas. Let's make a Symbols Wreath! Find some sturdy paper plates, old cardboard, or boxes. Cut them into a wreath shape. Paint or color them green. (Try a few different versions, such as Luke 2 from the Message version. Links to this post. Second day of Christmas. On the first day of Christmas.

Friday, May 8, 2009. Food/Snack Ideas John 15: 1-8 I Am the Vine. I've always been fond of verse 4 in John 15; " Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." Apart from God, we can do nothing. It's always interesting for children and youth to try to visualize what life would be like without God. Try this food experiment to help illustrate. Be sure to serve up some brownies at the end!
