Savoring the Circus: November 2011
http://savoringthecircus1.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 18, 2011. Queenie's got a loose tooth! The name Savoring the Circus is really taking on more meaning these days. I can't believe how fast my gang is growing. Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Mae has become a fixture around here. She's officially one of us. At night she trots from room to room, taking a nap in each. She snores, stretches, grunts like a large bear, and rolls over on her back to sleep some more. She pathetically lowers her head and then looks up at you with pitiful eyes.

Savoring the Circus: January 2012
http://savoringthecircus1.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 28, 2012. Today, as part of Sugar Baby's birthday celebration, we headed east to the beautiful coast. First, we made cupcakes with my mother-in-law. Then we headed down to the beach and explored. It was such a beautiful day,. Sunny and just a little chilly. One of the boys found this egg sack and discovered tiny baby conchs inside. There are so many beautiful things at the beach. Take these barnacles for instance. Mr C found a tree to climb. (and pose in). The sunset on the way home.

Savoring the Circus: Dried Beans!
http://savoringthecircus1.blogspot.com/2014/08/dried-beans.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2014. I have a goal to try something new in our garden each year and this year the new thing was dried beans. We eat a lot of dried beans around here! The beans grew beautifully! I think they probably should have been supported (as in pole beans) but they were planted so thickly that they became woven together and held each other up for the most part. We began shelling them in an organized fashion. neat little piles of beans and neat piles of already opened pods. We ended up with a ga...

Savoring the Circus: Canning!
http://savoringthecircus1.blogspot.com/2014/08/canning.html
Sunday, August 10, 2014. Our garden has been producing abundantly this year! I think our blueberry bushes have produced at least 2 dozen gallons of berries this year. so many for eating fresh, freezing, giving away, and canning. The twins have loved picking and eating blueberries. They quickly learned which berries were not so good for eating. This guy would pick a berry and if it wasn't dark blue, he'd offer it to his brother. Our cupboard filled up quickly with the summer bounty. Um, What are you doing?

Savoring the Circus: Wondering...
http://savoringthecircus1.blogspot.com/2014/07/wondering.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Wondering. I am wondering if I can keep up with this blog thing. Life and facebook have caused me to leave it by the wayside, but I am really wanting to pick it up again. For my own enjoyment mostly - to have a written and pictoral (is that a word? Record of our days. Because they are flying away too fast for my memory to keep up. So here's hoping I can be back here before another year goes by! July 29, 2014 at 6:12 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Savoring the Circus: November 2012
http://savoringthecircus1.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 25, 2012. About a month ago we found out that our twins are boys! Gulp - that'll make FIVE boys total. I wonder if our house will hold up? Tomorrow will be 27 weeks and we're praying that these little guys will stay put for a while longer. I've had to seriously cut back on a lot of my normal activity in order to keep the contractions at bay. The time is ticking by s l o w l y. Thankfully though, I've got a house full of handy, helpful people! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
