LCARS Framework

This is Version 2 of my LCARS website Template. I have moved away from the old design COMPLETELY rewrote everything. Using the jQuery javascript database we are now able to make a great looking LCARS style website simple. More then just a Template this is a System. It comes complete with simple to use styling, screen types, and button calls. It even has a few hidden elements (if you don't look at the source). So I developed this framework. LCARS Website System - EXTRA. Along with the System itself you get a few extra things when you download the LCARS Website System. You get 3 UFP images. A large UFP logo a small one and a moving one. You also get a large collection of Star Trek ascii art text files.

LCARS Website System - Things to do. First thing I want to add to the system is SOUNDS! What is LCARS without the awesome computer chick? Along with that I want to add BIO pages for all of your fav. Star Trek Characters. If you have anything you would like to see added to the System please let me know! Me or find me on trekbbs.com. The first release, I couldn't find any known bugs with the system. If you have any please feel free to send me feedback. Thank you! What I'm planning on adding to the System.

LCARS Website System - The Javascript. The Javascript used for the LCARS System isn't very advanced at all. Basicly you tell it what it should do. The system also isn't very smart it only understand a few very basic requests. The key thing to understand is it's all controled from the LCARS init(); function. When you write the mark-up for your page your body will have a onload=" option inside the option will be the LCARS init(); function. This is what it should look like. Panel, full, or split.
