Michael Jackson Sandwich | Urban Survival Guide

https://urbansurvivalguide.wordpress.com/2009/03/13/michael-jackson-sandwich

Tonight, on the way home from work, I stepped onto the R train at 49th Street and was overwhelmed by the smell of mayonaisse. At first glance, a seemingly normal guy was devouring a subway sandwich. But then as I sat down, it went down like this…. 8220;Are you okay? I turn the offer down – obviously. And he says:. 8220;But it’s a Michael Jackson sandwich.”. Then he puts his face right up to the window and asks me:. 8220;Can you tell me when we get to Michael Jackson’s house? By getchoo44 on March 13, 2009.

Tip #2 – Watch Where You’re Going | Urban Survival Guide

https://urbansurvivalguide.wordpress.com/2008/03/12/tip-2-watch-where-youre-going

Tip #2 – Watch Where You’re Going. I learned this lesson a long time ago – Camp Louemma, 1991. After taking my “rest hour” shower, I headed out to this grassy area near some woods with some of my B7 boys for a little frisbee toss – all decked out in my brand new Air Jordan’s. So, what about the tip? By getchoo44 on March 12, 2008. One Response to “Tip #2 – Watch Where You’re Going”. Said this on March 12, 2008 at 3:28 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Tip #1 – Stay Away From Metal Grates | Urban Survival Guide

https://urbansurvivalguide.wordpress.com/2008/03/11/tip-1-stay-away-from-metal-grates

Tip #1 – Stay Away From Metal Grates. Do NOT stand on metal grates on sidewalks. I learned this the hard way on West 4th Street. Waiting for a friend, I was approached by two hooded men on a street corner asking me to follow them into an alley. Hooded Man #1: “Hey man, come down this way with us.”. Me: “Ummm… what? Hooded Man #2: “You a cop? Hooded Man #1: “No man… he cool.”. By getchoo44 on March 11, 2008. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

8220;Mmmm… Thought that was the N-train over there… Said Uh-oh, I did it again… but it’s not…”. As I’m sitting on the N-train and another train passes by us on our way to 34th Street, those are the words I hear. I turn to my right. Sitting beside me is a black woman holding a cane and some books in a plastic bag. I nod, smile, drink some water. I am so uncomfortable. Other people just stare at me to see my reaction. Adventures in Amateur Baking and Cooking. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Make sure to dry the shrimp. I sprinkled the shrimp with old bay seasonings and olive oil and roasted in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until the shrimp turns pink. But just enough to coat the shrimp. Before serving I cut the buns in half and toasted for 2 minutes so it would be slightly warm. It was a delicious light dinner and also made a lovely salad the next day. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. 30 min to bake.

This is my second challenge and wow what a challenge it was. I made this over two days on a weekend. I think the key to making this cake is breaking it up so it is not overwhelming. Note: This cake calls for Filberts but I used hazelnuts. The hazelnut is supposed to be similar to a filbert. 7 large egg yolks.
