Santa Ynez, San Diego, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Los Angelsの旅. 12288;今回の旅行の目玉のイベント、それが Cirque du Soleil. 12288;Las VegasのMIRAGEにある常設シアターでしか観劇ができないこのショー。一昨年から切望していた観劇が、念願かなって今回ついに実現です。 12288;4時半にホテルの Imperial Palece. に到着。このホテルにした理由は宿泊代がこのストリップに面したホテルの中では、一番安かったからというのと、何と言っても目の前がMIRAGEだから。1日に19時からと22時の2回公演があるので19時の回で日本で事前にチケットを取っておいた。 12288;ホテルにチェックインしてから、しばし休憩。シャワーを浴びてすっきりしてから身支度をして向かう。 12288;当日のMIRAGEの会場は超！混雑。自分は6月中旬に MIRAGEのサイトで席を予約. 12288;Las Vegasまで観に来た甲斐がありました。ラベル: 　Cirque du Soleil.

Santa Ynez, San Diego, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Los Angelsの旅. 12288;Williamsを出てKingmanから93号線をLas Vegasに向かって北上している途中で、社会の授業で出てきた Hoover Dam. にさしかかった。この区間は、意外なほどに渋滞。最初は事故渋滞かと思ったのだが観光地ということで車の出入りが多いので渋滞になっているらしい。見学者も結構な数いて道を歩いている。 12288; Hoover Dam. で公共事業のひとつとして雇用確保に貢献した…というように覚えていたのだが、ウィキペディアによると工事が始まったのはその前のHoover大統領のときだったらしい。考えてみれば、だからHoover Damだよね。 12288;まぁ、Hoover Damなんて社会で暗記すべき言葉だろ、としか捉えていなかった自分が恥ずかしい。実際に見ると何か、教科書で習ったことがイメージとしてつながったって感じだ。 12288;Visitor Centerがあってツアーもある.
