Tuesday, July 20, 2010. BBQ Chicken in slow-cooker. I fell upon this recipe and decided to try it out since I LOVE my crock pot (Christmas present from my sister a few years back). I tossed everything in the crock pot and left for the day. BBQ Chicken Crock Style. 1 fryer chicken, or 4 to 6 breasts. 1/2 cup tomato paste. 1 tbsp. brown sugar. Salt and pepper to taste. Place chicken in slow-cooker. Mix all other ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook over low for at least 8 hours. Going Apes in the Kitchen.

Thanks for stopping by!: February 2010
http://apescancook.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. When I was at the store this weekend I picked up some Kielbasa. I LOVE Kielbasa (thanks to my Polish roots) and I can eat it hot, cold, room temp, plain, with cheese on crackers, etc. BUT my favorite way to eat it is with sauerkraut. Those some sliced kielbasa and sauerkraut in a pan, let it heat up and I am a happy camper! 1 Green Pepper (julienned - sliced skinny and lengthwise). 1 Red Pepper (julienned). Pasta (penne is preferred, but use any kind). Easy Fudge Pudding Cake.

Wednesday, July 21, 2010. This salad called for a vast array of ingredients, and I was skeptical at how it would all taste together…but hey, don’t knock it till you try it (that also goes for MOST areas of life). So I tried it…and SHOULDN’T have knocked it! 189; Red Onion. 4 cups diced Watermelon. Fresh Mint (thinly sliced). 188; cup olive oil. Lemon Juice (from ½ lemon). Soak 1/2 thinly sliced red onion in cold water. Pat dry 4 cups diced watermelon and 1 seeded and sliced cucumber. Add 1/4 cup olive oil.

This blog site changed their format on how to upload pictures, which made it more tedious. and also because I'm lazy. But enjoy.
