So much has happened since I last posted I don't even feel like writing it all down. In summary, I ended up quitting my job and moving to California. After a bit of troubleshooting the problem came down to not enough suction from the pump. Thanks to the folks at Jag-Lovers.org I learned that my car has a fairly stock fuel system. Thursday, November 24, 2011. I don't usually partake in these things but recently more than a few people I know have been affected by cancer. Movember, if you don't know already, is a mustache growing charity event to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues such as prostate cancer. In Canada a frightening 1 in 7 men. Saturday, October 13, 2012. Ubuntu DLNA and Samsung Smart TV. A few months ago we got one of those new Samsung 5300 Series Smart TVs. I decided to set up a DLNA server so I could replace my MythTV box. I found that with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, miniDLNA worked out of the box. But it didn't have the best format support so I switched to Rygel. Here is a link to rygel-0.17.0.tar.xz. Extract with tar Jxvf xxx.tar.xz. And here are some deps I needed to install before I could build rygel from source. On the road again.
