Updates on my adventures in Spain! October 25, 2013. Right as we stepped out of the taxi, Jesus (Natividad, our landlady’s husband) was there to meet us. Lauren had messaged Natividad about an eye doctor, and her mother instinct came through and since she could not make it, she sent her husband to help us. Jesus was wonderful! One of our friends from Spain, Mario, brought us breakfast this morning. Chocolate croissants, fruit and juice! This was in attempts to help Lauren feel better. So sweet of him!

Updates on my adventures in Spain! Barcelona Weekend with Shayna. January 17, 2014. I headed up to Barcelona for another weekend with Shayna. This time I made it on time for my trip there! As always, I was exhausted once I got to Shayna’s because it is hard to sleep on the bus overnight. I fell asleep for a couple hours, then once I woke up, we got ready and went to take the train to Monserrat! Monserrat is a mountain just about an hour from the center of Barcelona. It is beautiful too! View at the top.

Updates on my adventures in Spain! My First Italy Adventure! January 17, 2014. Taking advantage of the cheap RyanAir flights and long weekends, I booked a last minute trip to Milan for the weekend. I saw a cheap flight, and I impulsively bought it. I have never really thought about Milan, I don’t know much about it, but it sounded like a cool place to go! Duomo on the first night.
