Nan's Sunday Six: February 2009
http://nanssundaysix.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 22, 2009. February 22, 2009 Sunday Recap Six. It snowed last night- we had about a half an inch on the ground this morning. This is part of our backyard. When we went out to the car to go to church yesterday, we noticed that Mike's tire was flat. I took a picture of the snow as it fell last night- I liked how this one only showed the snow with nothing in the background. I looked up on Friday morning and saw that several planes had been playing tic tac toe in the sky. This weekend was our...

Nan's Sunday Six: March 2009
http://nanssundaysix.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 22, 2009. March 22, 2009 Sunday New Six. Today was such a warm, sunny day that I decided to go for a walk around the yard. I use the term "yard" loosely since we have 15 acres. It was really hard to pick just six pictures to use, but hopefully you'll get a sense of what our yard is like. I came out the back door and took this shot from the top of the steps and looking left- our backyard. I turned right from the back steps and went to the pond below my dad's house. I came back up the hill fr...

Wednesday, March 18, 2009. March 15, 2009 Sunday Recap Six. Spring has finally sprung! In looking through my pictures from last week, I found lots of spring blooms from our yard. Our plum tree, almost ready to bloom. A tree probably planted by the birds- not sure what variety- looks like the Bradford Pear. An ornamental plum tree. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Nature of Things: Wildlife Update
http://thenatureofthings-nan.blogspot.com/2009/04/wildlife-update.html
The Nature of Things. Ramblings about my world- pets, plants, birds, life, etc. Friday, April 24, 2009. You just never know what you'll see when you look out the window. This morning it was a pair of male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. Joined by a male Indigo Bunting. Later in the morning, Daddy and Little E had come down for a brief visit and while looking out the living room window at the birds, we discovered something else! Then I got braver (or stupider) and went outside for a better view. I have been a ca...
