My Knitting Habit: January 2008
http://myknittinghabit.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 12, 2008. Dashing and Learning New Things! I had my first finished object of 2008 just a few days into the year: a pair of Dashing. Made of Cascade Venezia. Venezia is 70% Merino Wool and 30% Silk, and I. Working with it. The Dashing pattern was fun to work too and I think it took me 4 or 5 days to complete the mitts. I have to confess that using the Venezia was not my idea - Tina. Had used it for her mitts, and when I tried them on, they felt heavenly! Links to this post. Her husband i...

My Knitting Habit: Red Socks
http://myknittinghabit.blogspot.com/2009/02/red-socks.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I have gotten back to my. And am loving the progress on it so far. I am nearing the end of the first skein and enjoy the process very much. I have discovered Audible and listened to my first book while I was knitting last month. It was The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. The best part of winter is being inside looking out as far as I'm concerned. I have been rewarded with at least one pair of cardinals all year this year, and I am just thrilled to watch them at the feeder.

My Knitting Habit: October 2007
http://myknittinghabit.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 14, 2007. I have finished objects! I also finished up a baby sweater I had started last year. I really only had a few ends left to weave in and the buttons to sew on. I set the sweater aside while the baby grew a bit, and suddenly was rushing to finish before he grew too much! This photo doesn't enlarge very well - I took it in a hurry before I rushed out the door for the shower. It's a bit blurry, but you get the idea. Links to this post. Thursday, October 4, 2007. I had skipped two line...

Sunday, November 25, 2007. I am not sure. I think it would make a fabulous Santa gift for me under the tree though, don't ya think? Maybe later this week I'll follow-through and place the order. Links to this post. Sunday, November 4, 2007. Ready or Not, I'm Blogging. Be fine. Luckily, Random Knits. Seems there is just too much 'fabric' there. Friday, January 23, 2009. I have not dropped off the face of the earth, although for awhile I felt like I had. Life goes on, and while I have not found the end of the tunnel, I am seeing some light in my days and I have resumed knitting. I am still knitting socks, and have a wonderful pair of red socks (had I blogged about them before? Of course Patches had to get in on the action once he saw something was going on, and even though I lifted him off the yarn repeatedly, he would not be discouraged from ha...

My Knitting Habit: October 2008
http://myknittinghabit.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 12, 2008. I am still knitting, but had gotten away from blog reading and surfing for awhile, and hadn't downloaded pictures from my camera for months! Here are a few of the items I've worked on over the past months. Baby socks. Nothing special really, but oh so cute, and such fun to knit and give. I can't remember what the yarn was. I am thinking it was the Austermann Step yarn. I cut out the white parts except at the very top where I got a tiny white edge. Links to this post.
