Juelfs' Journey: January 2010
http://juelfsjourney.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 10, 2010. I'm pretty sure I lost any and all interest in posting pictures from Christmas. I know it's kind of sad, but let's face it I just don't want to. We had a great December filled with a lot of fun activities and new memories and most of them were captured on camera thanks to the new digital camera we bought as a Christmas gift! I have eight more weeks, so I shouldn't be that motivated but you know I always count on my babes to pop out two weeks early! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Something worth running for | Nate and Kara
https://conrad98.wordpress.com/2010/01/13/something-worth-running-for
Something worth running for. I know I haven’t written much the past few months…sickness, the holidays, my baby turning into a TODDLER! So, last year at this time I wanted to lose 75 pounds. I have lost 30 and ran a half-marathon! Two things I am very proud of, but still feel this “weight” of how much I have to go…. Okay…so I just signed up for THREE running races. A 5K (where you run into Wrigley, how cool is that? In April, a 10 mile race (that ends on the 50 yard line of Soldier Field! Fill in your det...

In Christ Alone | Nate and Kara
https://conrad98.wordpress.com/2010/01/17/in-christ-alone
Today in church, I was touched (as I often am) during worship. I love the song “In Christ Alone”. I think it speaks so clearly to what it means to fully trust the Lord and His plan for your life. It makes me want to weep. I am thankful for my Savior and my Jesus who commands my destiny. Here are the lyrics below:. In Christ alone my hope is found,. He is my light, my strength, my song;. This Cornerstone, this solid Ground,. Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. My Comforter, my All in All,. Januar...

a time out for mommy | Nate and Kara
https://conrad98.wordpress.com/2010/05/10/a-time-out-for-mommy
A time out for mommy. I love my kids. I love my husband. I am a very blessed woman. But one thing I was longing for this spring, was time to rest and relax. A time to take care of my body and soul. At the end of April, I was able to go on a trip with 5 girl friends to Florida. It was just what I needed! We had no agenda. We slept in, read books, talked, watched movies, and layed out at the pool. The weather was perfect. There was lots of laughter and lots of fun! Feed for this Entry. A time out for mommy.

Happy 1st Birthday, Lindsey! Today my baby turns one year old. I can’t believe it. I feel like the year has flown by so fast! This is the first time I have cried over the first birthday of my children. Maybe because she might be the last? Maybe because it is a reminder of how fast all my children are growing up? Maybe it is because I have so much to be thankful for? Here is look at the past year:. Very early in the morning on Nov. 19, 2008. Thoughts on church…. You be the judge. Picture of me a year ago:.

velker family: Wine and Hot Air Balloon Festival
http://velker.blogspot.com/2007/10/wine-and-hot-air-balloon-festival.html
Thursday, October 25, 2007. Wine and Hot Air Balloon Festival. Upper 70s and sunny, it sounded like the perfect day for a wine festival featuring the lift off of hot air balloons at it's conclusion. We got there mid-afternoon, after church and it was, well, WINDY! Not just a little windy, but why would I even waste my time trying to put my hair even in a pony tail, windy. Much to windy for the lift off of hot air balloons. So, we had t. O adjust our expectations for the day and make the best o. Just need...
