Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Hi guys, here's a quick post about the new favorite sweater I made for my critter-loving girl. This sweater has everything she loves:. A comfortable hood,. And cute animal faces. The pattern is the Otium sweater from the Dutch pattern designer Sofilantjes. It's a great pattern with a fun overlapping hood. The furry sleeves were copied from a fun squirrel sweater by Emma en Mona. The critter fabric is Menagerie Onyx. By Sarah Watson (Art Gallery), bought at Petite Couture.

So that gives me an enormous backlog of stuff that I've created over the past years. Sunday, March 24, 2013. These pants with holes in their knees had been laying on the mending pile for weeks (if not months). I finally took the time to patch them. Once started, I figured that I could just as well spend some extra effort to make them a bit special. The first pair got large embellished pads, sewn in both side seams. I opened up the side seams with the seam ripper, attached the knee pads, and resewed the seams. However, it turned out that resewing the double seam was quite tricky.

My son's wardrobe was getting a bit monotonous, and since he will usually wear anything I make him (unlike his big sister), I decided it was time to do some bold color-combining. So I took a dive into my fabric stash and reappeared with a blue, yellow and pink knit, some teal and orange ribcord. Finally I found the patterned fabric that was used for his Stylo outfit. And that combines all the other colors. I chose the Omni Tempore. This was my 10th(!
