Monday, April 14, 2014. Here are some peeks at the bedrooms on the upper level of our home. The basement has two additional bedrooms.one we use as an additional office and the other a few nephews have claimed as their own. I do love this room, we are flooded with light from the massive windows we have on both sides and the view is of the towering aspens in the back.something that I find so incredible relaxing to fall asleep and wake up to. This hall leads to the 'his' and 'hers' closets and my work space.

Monday, April 21, 2014. Our Home {Secondary Baths Laundry}. Here is a peek into our secondary bathrooms and the laundry room.the rooms that keep my boys nice and clean. For this small space, which is impossible to photograph, I went with 6' tall wainscoting and then a high gloss dark color above for the walls and ceiling. Thursday, April 17, 2014. Our Home {Master Bathroom}. My bath.love this space so much. The chevron floors still make me happy to this day, the bow window, all of the mill work.it is such a beautiful and calming space. For the vanities I had custom bun feet made and our finishers constructed them to resemble pieces of furniture. I had to put up a fight for this shower, I knew I wanted to use solid slabs when I laid eyes on these pieces, it just took some convincing. Posted by Melissa @ Veranda Interiors.

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. A little more on antlers. Yesterday, after my husband read what I had posted, he was inspired! Look and see what he created! Isn't that just fabulous! He killed this deer in Texas last year. It was mounted on a piece of drift wood, which was nice looking, but a little too masculine. Over a year ago, I bought two of these copper "shields" at a great store in town called. Rivers spied them yesterday and had the brilliant idea of using them as a base for his mount. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Almost a week ago, our new countertops were installed! We chose Black Pearl granite for our countertops. We like that it's black but not just flat black. It's almost a bit dark grey. Grey Pearl was a frontrunner but seemed TOO grey.this one is perfect! It actually worked out okay because we decided to add lower and upper cabinet lighting so the open walls made hardwiring the lights much simpler. Without further ado, here it is! What do you think? Any recommendations for me?
