From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Saturday, July 26, 2014. It has been one week since we have been home with Julia. It has been a great week with our new addition! With China being 13 hours ahead of us, we are still struggling with jet lag. I really think the first 4 to 5 days were just a blur. Even though I work a midnight shift, it is still challenging. Jake and Grant continue to stay up all night. Julia is doing great! I wanted to post some special thank you's tonight. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Saturday, July 12, 2014. It's great to report that each day gets better with Julia. Waking up today was really good. At breakfast we tried putting her in the stroller and she did fine. She also seems to be feeling better. No fever today. Today we had to get her medical check and photo for her passport. She did not enjoy this outing. A picture's worth a thousand words.or screams. After our appointments, Eva told us we were close to Shaimen Island for lunch and shopping. Eva brou...

Never An Empty Nest: Our Story

Lifesong - Both Hands Fundraiser. My wonderful husband Tim and I met and married 27 years ago. We lived coast to coast with the Navy, and having 2 daughters, we finally settled back to live our life in my old home town. Our confidence in our family of 4 was so solid, we made it permanent. We then decided we could concentrate on our careers and our family and live happily-ever-after.Oh how young we were! Life - All Figured Out.NOT. Permanent - Who Says? God Planting The Seed. From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Thursday, July 10, 2014. When Julia awoke today, she again pouted, whimpered and teared up. But this time she cried. As I went to get her bottle Nick said she felt like she had a fever. I took her temperature and she did have a low-grade fever. I gave her some children's motrin. After her nap, i made her some noodles with garlic powder, butter and parmesan cheese. She loved them. She has passed the test of being a true, Cracchiolo. After finishing up with the passport office, w...

From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Monday, July 14, 2014. Before and after breakfast, all went well with Julia. She is really getting to be a pro with the schedule now. After breakfast, we headed to the Chimelong Xiangjiang Safari Park. A few friends had recommended the park. I also noticed it is rated #1 out of 495 attractions for Guangzhou on tripadvisor. After the rain tapered off we got on the train and started our tour. It was really a site to be seen! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Here We Grow Again.

From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Friday, July 18, 2014. By the time they were ready for us, there were 16 families waiting. Unfortunately, we couldn't take our cell phones or cameras inside. We took an oath that all of our paperwork was correct and truthful. July 19, 2014 at 4:09 PM. I have loved hearing about your China trip. It sounds like you are having a great time. From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Saturday, July 26, 2014. Julia's Birthday was today she is 2! Coming home last night made us all get so excited and wound up. Today, the boys slept all day since they didn't go to bed until 4:30 am on July 20th. My parents came over to meet Julia. She let them hold her and we had a great visit. We kept cracking up outside her door. We waited and I checked on her 30 minutes later, she was asleep. It was such a blessing to have her home by her birthday! Here We Grow Again.

From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Saturday, July 26, 2014. I think Julia is becoming really comfortable with us. Today at breakfast, she was singing and moving around in her high chair like she owned the restaurant. After lunch, we were wiped out. Between the heat here, traffic, getting to our hotel, it depletes our energy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Here We Grow Again. More than a List. Cherry Coke and Chocolate. From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Monday, July 14, 2014. After the animal park yesterday, we ended up sleeping and resting in our hotel. It was nice after sweating and walking so much yesterday. Julia has been very calm this whole trip. I think she enjoys looking at things and being on the go. The day we got her, I asked her nanny how her personality is. She said she acts normal like all the other kids, is smart and a happy girl. We are so thankful for our miracle baby. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Visit...

From a Blonde Mamas Heart. Saturday, July 26, 2014. Our flight from Beijing was almost 13 hours. Overall, Julia did great. She had a few times of screaming out. I'm sure she was uncomfortable, but not too bad. We landed at Chicago O'Hare and that is where she became a US citizen. It was a beautiful day, the thing I noticed most was the clear, clean air. The air smelled so good. It was amazing! Thank you ALL for praying for us! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Here We Grow Again. More than a List.
