We've had a busy summer (with our trip abroad that I still need to discuss) and the girls are just starting to cook dinners. I had big plans that they would cook 2-3 times a week this summer, all summer. We'll be lucky to have time for the girls to cook 2-3 dinner in the remaining time this summer. School starts in 3 weeks (YIKES! And then she made dessert (on a different day), from the same cookbook. She likes it green!

I like it green! In celebration of all things green. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Our garden is VERY happy right now. Look at our almost 10 pound zucchini. One of my friends said you can't put the ini part on it since it's NOT little. We made 4 pans of roasted zucchini. (Just a little olive oil lightly brushed on them, then baked for 20 or so minutes, then broiled for 10 to get the carmelized effect.) These are excellent covered in spaghetti sauce or even plain! Gluten Free Zucchini Bread. She likes it green!

Most of them were turned into a tomato salad with a little drizzle of olive oil, some balsamic vinegar, a few chili flakes, a little salt, a little shake of garlic powder and a little shake of onion powder.
