About the Driving Tests. Before you can take your practical test, you will need to take your theory test. This can be taken at a centre in Peterborough, and costs 32. To book a theory test, click here. The theory test consist of 50 multiple choice questions and a helazard perception test. Once you have passed your theory test you have two years in which to take and pass your driving test. Disabled Facilities at Spalding Station. Friday, 17 April 2009. As previously mentioned there are plans the EMT have released sayiong the facilties will be upgraded this year. This is long overdue as are other measures for Disabled travellers. The station is still not fully compliant with DDA because of logistics of movement between platforms and the station not being staffed after 2.30pm each day.
