Vietnam adoption journey, kitchen remodeling projects, knitting projects, travels, and other daily rambles. Wednesday, June 21, 2006. Good News From Vietnam. Got an email from our agency yesterday. The government in the provence where our baby is living has sent all our baby's paper work to Hanoi for the central government's (IAD) approval. Once the IAD approves, we get our referral. It's so crazy good! Posted by Alice @ 7:59 AM. That is wonderful news! Things are moving along! View my complete profile.

http://foxes-hedgehogs.blogspot.com/2006/07/deep-breath.html
Vietnam adoption journey, kitchen remodeling projects, knitting projects, travels, and other daily rambles. Friday, July 14, 2006. Ok, ok, ok, whaooooo-k. I think I have everything under control. The other night, I felt like I was going to have a panic attack, but then I got a good nights sleep and since then, things have started to calm down. Both have matching hats. And I think I've got what I'm bring figured out which is also surprisingly not that much since it's mainly dresses as the weather is HOT.

Our Adoption Journey: Legacy of an Adopted Child
http://walkerfamilyadoption.blogspot.com/2006/04/legacy-of-adopted-child.html
Thursday, April 20, 2006. Legacy of an Adopted Child. Once there were two women who never knew each other. One you do not remember, the other you call Mother. Two different lives shaped to make you one. One became your guiding star, the other became your sun. The first one gave you life, and the second taught you to live it. The first gave you a need for love. The second was there to give it. One gave you a nationality. The other gave you a name. One gave you a talent. The other gave you aim.

http://walkerfamilyadoption.blogspot.com/2006/04/boy-or-girl.html

If we were pregnant, we wouldn't get to choose, so why should we get to choose the sex of our adopted child? Posted by Elizabeth and Carlos at 10:35 PM. I was dead-set on getting another boy, I can handle rough-and-tumble (I'm not a very girly-girl.) And Matt was sure we needed a girl (he's part of a one-boy, one girl, sibling group.) Setting as "open" we were able to just let "f...I hav...
