Monday, March 24, 2014. It's the little things. The other day I was on my way to my doctor's appointment and I noticed there was a carnival in a parking lot. Not a big fancy, fair-like carnival, but one of those little dumpy ones that you wonder if the machines have all the bolts put in them. All of a sudden, my heart skipped a beat. I was really excited that there was a carnival! Seeing the first star in the darkening sky and making a wish. Waking up and seeing snow on the ground. Going to a scary movie.

Monday, June 16, 2014. This just irritated the crap out of Vernon. He would see that he had the crappiest silverware and he had like all three designs, nothing matching. He would try to steal mine; the complete, pretty set. It would anger me to no end when I would sit down, after working very hard on setting the table (with no help), to see he had switched his silverware for mine. This brought out the big guns! I started licking my silverware! I was setting the table, I deserved the best of everything.

Monday, December 16, 2013. A single thought . I am a shy person. Or, I guess I used to be. Not so much anymore and I cannot figure out why not! Here are a couple of examples of my not-so-shyness:. Same office visit, but now I am at my ortho's office waiting to be seen. The nurse comes out to get me and waits until I finish a row before he says he is there to take me back. He said he did not want to disturb me! I apparently had the lowest blood pressure he had seen in a while! Thank you nurse, I shall!

Monday, August 10, 2015. So, I painted all weekend. Painting is hard work! That was hard work, too. Then I had to wait until the next day (I don't know if I actually HAD to wait, but my gosh, I was exhausted! But still.I was glad Natalie is young and generous! And I went to a lighter grayish color. Friday, April 10, 2015. Taking Care of a Chronic Pain Patient. My husband has been sick.really sick. He is hopefully going in for surgery later this month, but in the meantime, I have become his caretaker. This is not an easy job, not at all. Saturday, December 27, 2014. A Post Christmas Post? Just a couple of things on my mind this evening. On Christmas morning, Natalie asked why we did not have knitted stockings. Guess what I will be knitting throughout the year? This may shock some, but perhaps not. I love Home Depot. Not because I love to go through the store to find things to do with my house by myself, but because I always find something there that is very helpful! I just like to stroll Home Depot.
