The Liberace Sequence: July 2008
http://liberacesequence.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. White magic fell from above. If you are not familiar with Lansing-Dreiden, the magic of this band is not so powerful, or so I thought. When I first listened to their track " Trance Like Turn. I saw little to no difference between this band (Violens) and their artistic collective counterparts/alter ego's ( Lansing-Dreiden. Which I consider to be my favorite song of the year thus far. (Click on th last track to download it). enjoy! Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Tuesday, July 15, 2008.

The Liberace Sequence: February 2008
http://liberacesequence.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2008. Then I'll Drag You Home. The subject of this evening's post is one the most "underrated brit-pop acts of the 90's". Believe me, I could fill the Library of Congress with bands that fall under that heading. I could fill up the Library of Congress with a lot of other things believe you me (? Here it is in two Parts: Gene's. To See the Lights. A compilation of b-sides and live goodies. Additionally it was never formally released in the United States. Monday, February 25, 2008.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Roisin Murphy: Hot Chics: Backing Vocalists: My Bloody Valentine: Sundy Sundae Smile: Video. I did not intend to write about Roisin Murphy. In fact, I forgot about her, as she exists merely as a musician ( one of many) on my ipod. This was going to be about the My Bloody Valentine Sunday Sundae Smile E.P. Why the picture above (with Roisin)? The Sunny Sundae Smile. EP (click to download a rip of the vinyl: VBR). Was released before their albums and as you would imagine, it rep...

The Liberace Sequence: We Having A Party...A Political Party!
http://liberacesequence.blogspot.com/2008/10/we-having-partya-political-party.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. We Having A Party.A Political Party! The title of this post is a line from a song (go figure). I kid, I kid, it's actually from the Harry Potter novel, where he drops acid and moves to the factory town of Manchester, where he has a bugged out dreams of caped magicians. Both instances are true. true enough! The line is from the song "The House that Faded Out", which I am not including on this post. Humorous isn't it? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Liberace Sequence: Best of 2008
http://liberacesequence.blogspot.com/2009/01/best-of-2008.html
Sunday, January 11, 2009. Below is a peak at his list (note the. Monotonix - "Body Language" (Drag City). Hype deserved. nutbars live show that i imagine gets old around the third time you see it. the EP is NOTHING NEW, just zepplin-y riffs and hilariously broken english lyrics, but it's infinitely listenable. Radiohead - "In Rainbows" (Interwebz). Wait, did this happen last year? Whatever. i still can't get into this snoooooozefest past the first two songs. BEST NEWS OF THE YEAR :. Nice read, eh? Why di...

The Liberace Sequence: Cocteau Twins: An Introduction...
http://liberacesequence.blogspot.com/2009/02/cocteau-twins-introduction.html
Sunday, March 1, 2009. Cocteau Twins: An Introduction. When the thought of a Cocteau Twins post crossed my mind, it was during a caffeine fueled burst of creativity. The coffee gave me the power to not only process delinquent invoices, but to also wax poetically via the company email directory. The nearby 20-30 somethings, who I mingled with, saw me as some sort of freak. First, I was going to make an ornate banner, which would be ethereal. To say the least. If you notice it above the text. 9) Seekers Wh...
