Valley View: March 2010
http://lifewithavalleyview.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Cancer - Enough Said. I can't imagine being this family or any family dealing with something like this- my stomach is literally sick feeling over it. My heart breaks for kelly and her family- and it certainly puts into perspective life in general. Kelly is a strong woman- I honestly don't know how I could breathe, let alone go on day to day facing the challenges she is with a child of mine. I hope I never ever have to find out. A broken down Ol' Cowboy goin' RV Boondocking . And Yondering, to the beat of a different Biker Cowboy Drummer. Motorcycle Touring on Freedom Road. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Back in My Arizona Home. Made the return run from Denver through some snow and ice across southern Colorado and north New Mexico. While it was an uneventful drive. it was not without its sights. To allow such drivers out on blustery and stormy nights, as anything other than passengers on a bus is to wager against fate. The trip end...

Sorting Out the Future As I Go. Life goes on whether we go with it or not. so. just take what comes and do the best with it. My camera has not seen near as much use lately. The first three are actually from my phone on a lil' unexpected walk I took yesterday. The truck in the past couple months has started getting a lot "warmer" pulli...

A broken down Ol' Cowboy goin' RV Boondocking . And Yondering, to the beat of a different Biker Cowboy Drummer. Motorcycle Touring on Freedom Road. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Goin' Down the Road. There are many roads and many more ways of following them. Few however ever leave the comfort of their "local, familiar, safe neighborhood". ( i'm not just talking a physical place here. think about it. It s a throbbing passion within them that few souls on this earth are blessed to know. Those in Rodeo are pr...

A Laughing Gypsy: The first steps
http://thelaughinggypsy.blogspot.com/2010/04/first-steps.html
CELEBRATE WITHOUT CEASE THE GOOD LUCK OF GETTING SET DOWN HERE ON A LIVELY EARTH! Wednesday, April 21, 2010. I've Tai'ed my Chi formally through several stages of life, but the order of the movements seldom sticks beyond a few weeks. We go through standing, walking, and then the first steps. I think about several of my students who I'd like to invite to join our class, students who enjoy a Centered Riding approach to their lessons. Looking forward to fresh fodder to liven their lessons. Almost Heaven Hor...

A Laughing Gypsy: Burst the Bounds

CELEBRATE WITHOUT CEASE THE GOOD LUCK OF GETTING SET DOWN HERE ON A LIVELY EARTH! Wednesday, January 14, 2009. I start Madeleine L'Engle's "the Irrational Season" this morning, book 2 of Mamma D's Christmas gifting. As the sun groggily staggers above the horizon, I once again whirl and revel, agree and question L'Engle's luscious prose. This sentence sparks a pyrotechnic WAHOOO! That blows me off the sofa! I can't help but wonder what prompted the first moment - when one shepherd said to the other - "You know, I wonder what it would look like if we put Christmas lights on them.". A Laughing Gypsy: Obsidian and Gold
http://thelaughinggypsy.blogspot.com/2009/02/obsidian-and-gold.html
CELEBRATE WITHOUT CEASE THE GOOD LUCK OF GETTING SET DOWN HERE ON A LIVELY EARTH! Friday, February 20, 2009. This song is Mark's Valentine's present. It took root the night of our engagement, when we exchanged our gold and black feathered horses. I was going to write it for the wedding, but surprise surprise was a tad busy with other things. Then for his birthday, then Christmas, then our first/winter anniversary, but the timing still wasn't right. If it shows up in your head, please sing it to me! On on...
