My transplant took place at Cedars Sinai in Hollywood, CA on July 4, 2014. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. What I am thankful for. Its ok to have expectations - we just refer to them as goals. Goof-off and other commercial grade adhesive removers actually have a place in medicine. This journey is both physical and emotional.

Waiting for a Moonbeam

Waiting for a Moonbeam. A place to gather for women experiencing infertility, adoption loss, or the longing for a child. Sunday, December 23, 2012. A Box of Memories. As I started to peel back the tape, I realized what box was in my hands. Ten years is a long time. I had to be so brave. So very, very brave. And I didn't want to be. Brave enough to s...

Sunday, January 2, 2011. So much time has passed since I last posted. I hope all of you are well. I feel awful that I've lost touch with so many of my Taiwan adoption friends. I miss hearing from you all and think of you often! Annabella is 2 1/2 now and has been home almost 2 years! It's amazing to watch her grow. She is so loving, caring, and sooooo GIRLY! Just another WordPress.com weblog. Six weeks – Sick and dizzy. Posted October 17, 2007. Filed under: first trimester. So I went back to work Monday and have been feeling quite dizzy when I look at my computer. I talked to the nurse and she felt it was not the flu that I had but was morning sickness/pregnancy symptoms. I would think that too except that the symptoms came and went and only the actual diziness stayed with me. Anyway, the nurse just told me to make sure to eat every two hours. Esophagus, the...

Waiting for another miracle to join our family.

Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Family means everything to us. We know no one has the perfect family, and people would argue at times that what family they have is more than enough. We truly believe our family are the people we lean on the most, trust the most, and hopefully love (and are loved by) the most through this up and down experience of life. We were fortunate to have been able to meet and get to know his birth mother before he was born and now enjoy watching some of her personality develop in him.
