The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer: January 2009
http://sainsburysealeintelligencer.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 31 January 2009. I said there’s more to life than a broken heart dear console you. Update on the Guardian's 1000 Books You Should Read. It turns out I calculated wrongly. The pages also have side links, which I thought were just supplementary. But no, apparently they count too. So firstly a little addenda to my previous post. In addition to those War and Travel that I have already blogged about. On the Road - Jack Kerouac. Lonesome Dove - Larry McMurty. Helen Fielding - Bridget Jones Diary.

The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer: Take it hip to hip rocket through the wilderness
http://sainsburysealeintelligencer.blogspot.com/2010/01/take-it-hip-to-hip-rocket-through.html
Saturday, 23 January 2010. Take it hip to hip rocket through the wilderness. Number seven of an occasional series. This is one of my favourite songs ever. It holds a rare position of, whenever I hear it, bringing me out in goosebumps and making me grin like a maniac. It is also impossible not to sing along to it, usually at high volume. What makes it so good? Labels: Best songs ever written. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer. The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer.

The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer: June 2009
http://sainsburysealeintelligencer.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 17 June 2009. I love you for what I am not I do not want what I have got. This is an interesting story. Anyway, I digress. I still don't see the point of having 2 indie charts. One for artists who have not yet reached the "normal" top 20, and one for those that have (but also those who haven't? Presumably, but aren't signed to one of the 4 big labels. Does it really matter whether a band have reached the top 20 or not? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer.

The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer: November 2008
http://sainsburysealeintelligencer.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, 30 November 2008. Oh no, not me, we never lost control. This article in the NME. Got me thinking about cover versions. Some of these truly are terrible, although I haven't been able to face the Take That one. It also reminded me of when I was much younger, I bought Paul Young's album No Parlez. And on that was a cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart. I was blissfully. So, I started thinking about good covers or ones which might even be better than the original. My starter for ten? As an actor, althoug...

Tuesday, 19 January 2010. I heard somebody whisper please adore me. My friend Zoe took this gorgeous picture of the Blue Moon on New Years Eve. Isn't it fabulous? I am sad that I didn't realise there was going to be one until after the event, so I missed seeing it live. But this picture helps to make up for it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer: Music makes the people come together.
http://sainsburysealeintelligencer.blogspot.com/2010/01/music-makes-people-come-together.html
Monday, 18 January 2010. Music makes the people come together. And a very Happy New Year to all. I don't know it if is part of Barry Hearn's new ideas for rejuvenating the game, or whether it was an idea for the Masters - I can't quite see it working at the Crucible, especially not when there are 2 tables. Can you imagine - a player lining up the black for a 147 and suddenly Don't Stop Believin' fills the arena? It wishes it were the darts. 19 January 2010 at 06:38. You might be right, you know.

The Sainsbury Seale Intelligencer: April 2009
http://sainsburysealeintelligencer.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 16 April 2009. Break me you covetous creature. I'm getting quite obsessed with tote bags, and I really want to add this one to my collection. If it was in purple, it would be even better. Wednesday, 15 April 2009. All i'm saying pretty baby, la la love you, don't mean maybe. Bring on the bromance. Monday, 13 April 2009. Think of a number, divide it by two, something is nothing, nothing is nothing. I have been a most remiss blogger of late. But time to rectify that. Unsure watching the pilot, as...
