We organize guided walks both in London and surrounding countryside, in areas of outstanding natural beauty. Are usually about 30 minutes to 1h30 minutes by train from Central London. They vary in lenght from 5 miles to 12 miles, and in difficulty depending on terrain and ascent. We walk at an average pace of 2 to 3 miles per hour, and have regular breaks for lunch, rest, photos, etc. You will receive full details of each walk by e-mail, close to the date. We are friends with our environment. we use public transport to get to and from our walks. In London there is a wide choice of transport options. You will receive full details for each walk and how to get there. If you already have a London travel card check if you can buy an excess ticket to / from your walk, when this is outside your zone. When travelling by train, a Cheap Day Return ticket is the usual option for individuals. You can get 30% discount on CDRs if you have a Railcard. I love a bargain!

Don't leave home without it! Choose an energetic sports breakfast: oats, eggs and fruit are all ideal and you'll reap the rewards all day long. You will get thirsty during a long walk, so always bring some: a small botle in cold weather or a larger one in hot weather. Drinking water regularly prevents you getting tired. Excellent in cold and wet weather, boots should be waterproof. There are many brands and prices to choose from. Try wearing them first at home and around for a week or two to break them in.
