Seaton has been hard at work on the house.scraping, washing, caulking, priming and painting. That top dormer still has the original cedar siding from 1910 (at least we think so). And I've been reviving the flower beds here and there, before autumn sets in, with mulch and rock pathways. And a little late summer canning and fruit drying for the pantry. FND and Bon Voyage!

What a spectacular short hike just off hwy 84 we took with Isaac and Stephanie today.a stunning, verdant green narrow gorge leads. To Oneonta Falls. After climbing over a sizable log jam and wading upstream we come to the falls but not until we wade up to our armpits in icy water! What an amazing treasure so close to home.
