Monday, June 15, 2015. Les Compagnies Franches de la Marine, suite et fin. Ca y est, je viens de terminer ma deuxième unité des Compagnies Franches de la Marine poussant ainsi les effectifs à seize marins. Voici l'uniforme des marins lorsqu'ils arrivèrent en Nouvelle France. Il restera celui de mes officiers et portes drapeaux. Voici mon contingent au complet qui sera découpé en deux unités de huit marins. Le premier est composé de figs Conquest et d'un continental Perry en guise de porte étendard.

Thursday, June 25, 2015. Les Hurons, suite et fin. Voici donc mes derniers Hurons, ce qui porte leur nombre à 24, ou 36 si l'on rajoute à ce nombre mes Mohawks. Petite entorse à mes habitudes, ces figs sont des "Galloping Major". Cela donne un peu de variété à l'ensemble. Par contre, il faut reconnaitre que la finesse de sculpture ne vaut pas celle de "Conquest". C'est la raison pour laquelle j'ai "noyé" l'aspect trop lisse par des tatouages divers. Des Conquest, toujours aussi belles. Le long de lHudson.

As the battle is set near the town of Londinium, and the Tamsesis swamps, we placed a swamp-type terrain, dead trees, swamp, rocky hills and so on. It was a "normal" fight so we deployed at max 12ps. We throw dices and my romans will have the first turn. Roman Army (2 divisions):. 2 medium legio cohors. 1 large auxiliary sagitarii cohors. 1 medium auxiliary alae. 1 XS engineers unit. 2 medium legio cohors. 1 small skirmishers slingers.
