A Life Spent Taking the Other. The Washboard Highway is my way of taking the road less traveled. Or as Abbey put it “Taking the Other.” More often than not it specifically refers to a long desolate stretch of washboard desert road but is not limited to such. It’s about avoiding the mainstream, the interstate, the ideology of the masses. Why take the freeway when you can take back roads? Why always need a destination when the journey is the reward? As we race and prepare for the upcoming 2012 racing season.

I flew to JFK, picked up my new to me 2013 Land Cruiser and drove it 3600 in 4 days across 15 states. Add another 1k driven the following weekend while in Hawaii, my 50.
