Running with endurance the race marked out for me (Heb. 12:1). Your First (Or Nearly First) Race. November 27, 2013. I still remember my first race. I remember driving there, in the dark, and discovering packet. With these memories in mind, here are a few words of advice and encouragement for you, if you’re on your way to running in your first (or nearly first) race. 1 Don’t be afraid to look like a rookie. 2 Warm-ups and stretching are a very personal thing. 4 Start slower than you think you should.

Succumbed to what I think was overtraining. I have had blood tests and everything is normal but the combination of running like sh! T and lacking the motivation to keep pushing when I knew it wasn't improving has seen me take a bit of a break. On a good note though, we are heading into the best couple of weeks of the year...
