Scott & Sarah Kennedy: One of the down sides of living in Parau
http://scottkennedy.blogspot.com/2009/10/one-of-down-sides-of-living-in-parau.html
Scott and Sarah Kennedy. Friday, October 16, 2009. One of the down sides of living in Parau. Sarah and I were shocked to find this giant centipede in our bedroom today. At about 15cm, it was far too big to be inside! So it was given refugee status and released into the garden.the far end of the garden. For the science geeks out there, we think it may be Cormocephalus rubriceps - the largest New Zealand centipede, which can grow up to 25cm. Posted by Scotty at 6:48 PM. At 11:59 AM, October 20, 2009.

Scott & Sarah Kennedy: Idols in the Classroom
http://scottkennedy.blogspot.com/2010/02/idols-in-classroom.html
Scott and Sarah Kennedy. Monday, February 22, 2010. Idols in the Classroom. A couple of days later as I was mulling over my first week of practicum and in particular this lesson I had an epiphany. I understood in a powerfully new way the religious nature of a state education. State education is not some benignly neutral environment in which children learn bare facts. Scott and Sarah Kennedy. Monday, October 11, 2010. The kingdom of grace and the world of ungrace part 1. Posted by Scotty at 6:46 PM. Hey great post, Scotty. Some really, really nice thoughts there. I feel a bit challenged to be more graceful to others because I have been shown so much grace myself. At 8:40 PM, October 11, 2010. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. (John Newton). The Welfare State We're In.

Scott & Sarah Kennedy: Auckland's Low Carbon Action Plan
http://scottkennedy.blogspot.com/2014/03/aucklands-low-carbon-action-plan.html
Scott and Sarah Kennedy. Friday, March 28, 2014. Auckland's Low Carbon Action Plan. It's been a long time since I've been fired up enough to write something here, but it's finally happened. I saw in the Manukau Courier that submissions were being taken on Auckland City's Low Carbon Action Plan. No I hadn't heard of it either. Well the article informed me that the plan was to reduce Auckland's Greenhouse gases by 40% by 2040. So I decided to check out the. Below are some highlights from my submission.

Scott & Sarah Kennedy: Silencing Dissenting Voices?
http://scottkennedy.blogspot.com/2010/03/silencing-dissenting-voices.html
Scott and Sarah Kennedy. Sunday, March 07, 2010. What is it about human nature that we always seek to ban messages or silence people who disagree with us? However I believe that attempting to ban what we disagree with sets a dangerous precedent. What if the majority of people decide they do not like what we say and want to ban our thoughts and the public expression of our faith on billboards, pamphlets and radio? Scott & Sarah Kennedy: Ever get the feeling you're not being listened to?
http://scottkennedy.blogspot.com/2010/03/ever-get-feeling-youre-not-being.html
Scott and Sarah Kennedy. Friday, March 26, 2010. Ever get the feeling you're not being listened to? To Epson's credit, they replied very promptly to my email. Unfortunately, their email sent the message that they were really not listening to me. And I quote (with spelling mistake uncorrected):-. So apparently I'm supposed to be bribed back to the brand with a couple of measly ink cartridges once I purchase a new Epson printer. In the immortal words of some beer we drink; yeah right.
