Kepik fountain spout

Ships in 2-3 business days. The affable Kepik spout. Kepik is a smaller sized bronze spout that excells at low flows and works very well in fountains where the water arc must be kept to a minimum. It's flexible. At low flows it produces an interesting stream of water. At larger flows, the stream is controlled and surprisingly pleasant. The rounded spout lends itself to swimming pools where contact with a swimmer or reveler won't cause too many problems. See the color chart. It's square short and stubby.

We all start somewhere. The spouts I sell start with a wax casting. It's the first step in a process called investment casting. Ideally the parts would come out of the mold in perfect condition, but that never happens. The molds use are filled by hand and the casting are such that they provide places for air bubbles to get trapped in overhangs and hidden corners. I move the molds around to allow the bubbles to float to the surface. But, once the wax begins to solidify, the bubbles are trapped.

Fountain spouts and scuppers *. It's hard to get a sense of the sizes of the spouts just from the pictures. Here's something to help guage the relative sizes of the spouts. Think of clothing sizes:. Hopefully, you're familiar enough with a milk carton that it gives you a sense of the individual sizes. The exact sizes of the spouts are available on the item cut-sheets. How far the spout spits out water might not matter in you installation, but when it matters - it really. Also look at the new spouts.

Available colors and finishes. Traditional: this is a dark chocolate brown color. Tuscan brown: a mottled brown reminiscent of rust. Black: a very dark warm black. Verdegris: a dark base with blue green highlights. These colors are created through chemical reactions with the base metal and are commonly referred to as Patinas. They are not paint or powdercoat.
