Someone who should know better. I am using Microsoft’s new Internet Explorer 9. It uses a low-level Windows technology called DirectWrite to display all the text on web pages. Microsoft’s reasoning for this is that DirectWrite produces a more ‘correct’ font display and uses a computer’s own graphics card to speed up the display of web pages.
