Tuesday, October 27, 2015. October 25, 2015 - Pisgah Forest near Brevard. We made it as far as where the trail turns to the right to follow Right Fork, then decided to try our luck someplace else. Before we headed back to the car, we did go up and check out Daniel Ridge Falls. From there we pulled over at the cascades on Looking Glass Creek right next to the road just a short distance from Sliding Rock. Sunday, November 29, 2015. November 23, 2015 - Back to DuPont State Forest. The last lake is Lake Dense and I'm guessing it gets a lot of visitors in the summer months. Thursday, July 14, 2016. July 6, 2016 - Big Bradley Falls from below. I had decided to save shooting the wildflowers for the way back until I got to the old log cabins. I saw a flower growing there I had never seen before, but it looked more like a leftover bulb type flower from the days when this was somebody's home. I had to stop and shoot it - then a couple of others. There were quite a few other varieties in bloom also, but I didn't want to spend too much time on the wildflowers. Friday, July 8, 2016.
